Mailing Guide


BELOW IS A GUIDE FOR THE SMOOTH PROCESS OF YOUR MAILING CAMPAIGN

1. PLAN YOUR CAMPAIGN

  • Do you have a database or does this need to be sourced
  • What are your printing specifications & do you have artwork
  • Decide on the quantity, size & number of inserts
  • Postage requirements
  • Set a despatch date, allowing enough time to complete all elements, prior to mailing production

2. GET A QUOTE

Contact us with your exact requirements:

  • Quantity
  • Size ( Guide to Paper & Envelope sizes )
  • Number of Inserts
  • What type of personalisation
  • What will you will be supplying
  • What do you need us to supply
  • Type of postage – Do you have your own account
  • Destination – UK, Overseas or both

3. PLACE YOUR ORDER & BOOK IN YOUR CAMPAIGN

  • If you have your own Royal Mail account, you will need to allow us access to download a docket on your behalf
  • If you are using Spectrum Printing & Mailing Services account, then you will receive a postage invoice
  • This invoice must be paid prior to the despatch of your mailing
  • Let us know when we can expect to receive all elements being supplied, including the address data

4. PRODUCTION

  • If you are sending a personalised letter, we will send you a proof
  • You will need to check the proof thoroughly and let us know, by email, if you are happy to proceed
  • Your mailing will then be put into production and carried out to your requirements

5. DESPATCH

  • As soon as your campaign is complete, we will despatch as required
  • We will contact you to confirm that your mailing has been completed & despatched

6. INVOICE

  • On completion and despatch, you will receive a job invoice
  • Spectrum Printing & Mailing Services payment terms are 30 days from invoice date
